«I want a divorce» — said a young pretty girl named Lola. Her husband, Henry, just shrugged his shoulders squeezing hands. He was a bit bewildered, because everything was fine from his side. He got married and had a family living his best life. Honestly, It was a marriage of convenience. He felt no affection for his wife. Lola was from the upper crust. When Henry got wind of her fortune, he just set a trap for her. He ran errands pretending that he fell head over heels. He tried to keep up with Lola and lied to her that he worked as a prosecutor.
«Oh, dear, I always select my clients with scrupulous care. I deal with very serious people and I’m shrewd enough to win on points», he boasted catching a glimpse of her eyes.
Of course, he told that she was the apple of his eye just buttering her up. She did not feel a sense of incredulity. It was before their wedding.
After wedding, something came up. Lola clarified that Henry was a dark horse. It was hard to believe that he had been unemployed since they met each other. He was an outright liar. Lola was furious. She took a deep breath trying to steady herself. She just wanted someone to rely on, but her husband was cunning and selfish. However, deep down inside he was neither fish nor fowl. Just a fake person.
At last, she pulled herself together and said:
«I want a divorce». And she was calm and confident like never before.
