A house is a building, but a home is a concept. This concept consists of different emotions and feelings. Probably it depends on a person. As for me, it's a place where I feel love and safety. I'm not supposed to wear a mask there (now this phrase has a direct meaning). The point is, all I need is to be myself.
A home is my family. Lots of pictures occur in my head: my grandmother reads a fairy tale sitting by the fireplace or my mom makes a fish pie, and I'm looking at her hands at this time.
It's a cozy place where I can read in silence or contemplate my life.
My home smells like summer :) Something sweet, floral and warm.
These feelings create my personal image of a home.
There are lots of phrases and proverbs about it. We are always asked to "feel like home". What does it mean? It means that we should be yourself, just relax and don't worry about anything.
